My name is Thilo. Welcome to my private website.

I earned my master's in engineering at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Universität in Hannover, Germany. Besides that, I have been running my own IT consulting business now for about 15 years. I also started an engineering business two years ago focused on non-destructive testing methods on carbon fiber structures in combination with Deep Learning neural networks . I am a scientist, a developer, father and a system engineer — how does that go together!? Very well, actually! I manage to successfully combine these roles: as a scientist I love to experiment with novel technology, that I use to develop exciting products, which I optimise as a system engineer with respect to performance, availability, and security. My family always keeps me happy and I adore the joyful play of my kids.
